Room 5 - Tran - Ho dynasties (1226 - 1407)

In 1225, Trần Dynasty replaced Lý Dynasty, continued the construction of Đại Việt in all aspects.

Under the Trần Dynasty, the mandarin hierarchy was consolidated; army was organized well; agriculture, industry and commerce made progress; Royal college, Martial arts school were founded; culture, science, arts developed well; many famous works of literature and arts were created, especially the Nôm script began to be used in literature.

These achievements raised the living standard of people, advanced the Đại Việt civilization and made 3 attacks of Mongol-Yuan aggressors (1258, 1285 – 1288) defeated for national independence, shared in the prevention of Mongolian Empire’s expansion with people all over the world.
